Preposition of Time

Preposition of Time digunakan untuk menyebutkan waktu tertentu seperti tanggal, jam, hari, pekan, bulan, dan lain-lain. Sama halnya dengan Preposition of Place, Preposition of Time juga terdiri dari: at, in dan on.

• At – Digunakan untuk jam, liburan dan waktu spesifik lainnya seperti “at night.”
• In – Digunakan untuk bulan, musim, tahun, abad, dan waktu-waktu di masa lampau.
• On – Digunakan untuk hari-hari tertentu, tanggal-tanggal tertentu, dan lain-lain.

Preposisition adalah kata depan yang berfungsi untuk menghubungkan Kata Benda (Nouns) dan Kata Ganti (Pronouns) yang ada dalam kalimat. Biasanya menghubungkan orang, obyek, waktu dan tempat. Biasanya sangat pendek dan sesuai dengan namanya yaitu kata depan, maka penempatannya ada di depan kata benda termasuk Gerund (Verbal Nouns).
